    I don't really understand the wording of this, does this plugin prevent people being kicked when they try to connect to a whitelisted server? or do I have the wrong idea of this.

    Yes, I believe it won't kick them. But the main function is just to whitelist the players, if you only need to do maintenance on one server. @Mikgreg

    The point of lilypad is that you connect multiple servers together.
    For instance, i have running 8 servers atm. They are all connected to a HUB server.
    I someone tries to join a server that is temporary under maintenance or a whitelisted server they will get kicked with vanilla minecraft whitelist.
    My plugin does not KICK them but redirect them to the HUB.
    The point is not losing players, because someone that disconnects is someone that may or may not come back on you server because they need to join the server again.
