This tutorial is obsolete. You should no longer be using JLilyPad server, but rather GoLilyPad.

    Concept

A Distributed Cloud is for use when your player count is too large for one individual Proxy and you require more proxies to be used in a round robin environment. This allows you to hold a practically infinite amount of players, while maintaining a simplistic and integrated setup. All plugins designed for an AllInOne setup will work on a Distributed setup out of the box.

A lot of people have distributed servers already online, but I just haven't had the time to document it. If you want to set it up, it definitely works, and the projects you will need are:
    • Server-Standalone-Proxy
    • Server-Standalone-Connect
    • Server-Standalone-Query
Just poke around until you can get it working. I recommend you learn how to setup an AllInOne server before you setup a Distributed server, because then you will understand it better.
